HERE it finally is, my effortless curls tutorial for short (or long) hair! My internet connection at home shut down so I'm working at my favorite coffee place to upload and edit this tutorial for you as we speak! It's really simple and I love the effortless-ness (is that a word?) of these curls! Good luck if you are going to try this out and let me know or show me the result via twitter or instagram (@billieroseblog)
P.s Note to self: practice your facial expresions, haha
AFTER spending way too much time on Pinterest and Tumblr yesterday to find some pretty hair styles, I feel totally inspired to film some hair tutorials for you! So that's exactly what I'm going to do today! If you have any requests please let me know!
SINCE Spring has officially sprung it's time to switch up the make up bag a little bit. Hello dewy base, fresh pastel colors and bright lips and nails. In this season I love to wear an effortless and natural makeup look, really simple and fun. I'm going to film a couple of really easy and pretty makeup looks so keep an eye on the blog!
These are my favortite makeup items:
1. The shampoo and conditioner from Concotion (available at Soap Treatment Store) these two product smell seriously amazing and make my hair super soft 2. These Loreal eyeshadows are really pigmented and the colors are really pretty and natural 3. Essie nailpolishes... my secret addiction... my favorite color at the moment is Peach daiquiry4. Perfect base to apply before foundation when you love dewy skin as much as I do 5. Favorite Spring parfum, floral and fresh! 6. For bright lip lovers only, it's creamy and matte and stays on the lips for hours 7. Another all time favorite from Essie is Fiji, creamy pastel Pink 8. When it's Spring I like to wear a lighter moisturizer, this one from REN is really nice.
EVERY other day I really love to pamper my skin with a nice facemask. Sometimes to hydrate or to decongest and deep cleanse my skin. These 3 are my all time favorites which I use on rotation:
Origins Drink Up Intensive face mask, this one I use 1 or 2 times a week (depends what my skin condition is) I use it overnight. I apply a thin layer all over the skin and go to sleep. I try to fall asleep on my back but usually this doesn't take long. The mask feels like a gel consistency and your skin feel super smooth and hydrated in the moring. It also smells like heaven!
REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask, I am in love with this mask. it's a peel mask which is designed to renew the complection and removes dead skin cells. My skin looks a lot brighter in the moring when I use it before bed time!
Aesop Parsley Seed mask, A beautiful mask I love to use when my skin looks and feels a little dull. It's a clay based mask to deeply cleanse and refreshen the skin. After washing it off my skin feel exactly what it says on the tube!
Do you like to use facemasks? Which one is your favorite?
I love a dewy, glowy and natural make up look. Nothing too matte or powdery (I never use powder) I like things natural and "your skin but better" when I use foundation. In the cold winter months that pretty summer glow is nowhere to be found, so I have to fake it a little bit. I love to use the "Clarins Instant light Radiance Boosting Complextion Base"(say what?) As the name suggests it's a radiance boosting primer you use underneath your foundation (or without foundation of course to get a little bit of extra glow) Your foundation lasts longer on the skin and it gives you a natural glow, winning combination if you ask me!
